Supreme Court Rejects The Ban Plea Of Rajasthan And Madhya Pradesh Over Padmaavat Row

Padmaavat movie has witnessed a series of protest since last one year from various social and political groups. Well, the protest got intense after the announcement of the release date to December 1, 2017. But the release date was delayed to January 25, 2018, to calm down the whole issue. But still, the protesters were demanding a complete ban on the film. A few days back, Supreme Court has announced that there will be no ban on Padmaavat in any state.

Even after that, the protesters remained to stand on their decision to ban Padmaavat across India. Lately, Supreme Court has rejected the plea of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to ban the film in their state to avoid the law and order situation.

So now, it’s the duty of every state to prevent the law and order situation. That means Padmaavat is all set to hit the theaters on January 25 in every Indian state.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this film stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. It is a solo release film at the box office and that means it will do a strong business in the theaters.

Altogether, it’s a big win for the Padmaavat makers from the Apex court.
