One of the biggest news of the year is here, as Aamir Khan has confirmed that he along with Gadar 2 fame Sunny Deol is working on a project called Lahore 1947 which will be helmed by renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi.

Aamir Khan took to social media and wrote,”I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny, and one of my favourite directors Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching. We seek your blessings.”

Previously, Aamir Khan has worked with Mr Santoshi on a film Andaz Apna Apna in 1994. Even, Sunny Deol has worked previously in many movies of Mr Santoshi like Ghayal (1990), Damini (1993), Ghatak (1996). If I am not wrong than, Rajkumar Santoshi is working again with Sunny Deol after 27 years haitus.

Well, Rajkumar Sir has made two films in 2023, Bad Boy and Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh, none of them have worked at the box office. We hope, his next film Lahore 1947 will work wonder when it will release in 2024.

This year is a terrific one for Sunny Deol, as his last film Gadar 2 has crores almost 525 crores nett at the box office despite a big clash with OMG 2.
