Stree 2 is the latest delivery from Bollywood which has officially being released in theaters on August 15, 2024. Interestingly, the paid previews of Stree 2 movie started from 9.30 pm onwards in India from August 14. The screentime of this horror comedy film is around 2 hours 29 minutes.
Story: The story of this film is a follow up from the first film where it actually end. We all know that Stree left the town and now Rajkummar Rao aka Bicky living a normal life with his friends Aparshakti Khurana aka Bittu, and Abhishek Banerjee aka JD. Sooner we see that Chanderi villiage is again in trouble from Sarkate Ka Aatank. Well, Bicky and his gang again needs Shraddha Kapoor to help them overcome this new trouble. Will, Shraddha able to help them again is what this story is all about. It is also interesting to know who is Sarkata and how is related to ghost Stree.
The early reviews of Stree 2 movie is out now and they are in a range of 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5 stars.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Stree 2 story is interesting and filled with lot of good funny dialogues. Well, I must admit that Stree 2 is just 50 percent of the original one still an entertainer. The comic timing between the lead actors save the film for me and for the audience. You don’t need to apply much logic into this movie and it is a movie to just enjoy and get entertain. This movie reminds me of 80’s and 90’s Era Ramsay brother movies. The VFX work is just passable and it could have been much better. Few double meaning dialogues could have easily avoided as there were no need of it. The first half is good filled with lot of laughter but the second half has some loopholes. Still the film end on a high note. The screenplay could have been better in the second half. The editing work is good but it could have been better. Tamannaah Bhatia entry in this film could have been avoided. The non-stop comedy of first film is not there in this second film. I feel that the director missed the plot to many places but still a decent sequel for the masses. The good thing in this movie is, despite few issues this film is still entertaining to watch. The background music is good but the horror element is low as compared to the first film. I hardly feel any fear in this film and that’s the drawback. Even Pankaj Tripathi seems like getting out of the track. This film is just passable but it will be definitely liked by masses. The production value is good but the X-factor is missing. Akshay Kumar as madman cameo is there for 2 minutes but I felt it is one of the best part of this movie. The second half is the low point of this film but overall it’s a decent movie.
