Sooryavanshi is by far the biggest Indian release of 2021 post pandemic and currently it is ruling the box office. Released on November 5, 2021, Sooryavanshi has shattered many opening day records of the box office.

This film was about to release on March 24, 2020 but due to covid scenario, this film has released after 19 long months. Well, the wait is worth as audience are thronging to theaters to witness this mass entertainer film. This film features Akshay Kumar as ATS officerVeer Pratap Sooryavanshi who goes any extent to eliminate the terrorists. This film also features Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer Singh as Simmba along with Katrina Kaif.

This movie has been released in over 1300 screens in overseas and almost 3519 screens in India, which takes its worldwide screen count to 4819. Even the budget of this film is touted to be around 160 to 170 crores.

Sooryavanshi has opened with 28 to 30 percent audience occupancy in the morning shows and went up to 75 to 80 percent audience occupancy in the night shows. Sooryavanshi movie has earned around 26.50 crores nett as per trade report. Well, Sooryavanshi movie producers figures is around 26.29 crores nett. Sooryavanshi movie overseas collection of Day 1 is yet not reported.

Sooryavanshi movie has opened strongly on second day as well and there are big chances that the second day this film will collect in a range of 28 to 30 crores minimum. This will help this film to take the two days collection above 55 crores nett as per current trend.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film has been backed by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. This is the first biggest mass entertainer from Bollywood and it has really bring back audience to cinema theaters.
