Sanak is the latest Hindi film which has released on OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on October 15, 2021. The screen time of this action drama film is around 1 hour 57 minutes. This film has been inspired by 2002 Hollywood film John Q. starring Denzel Washington.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Vidyut Jammwal aka Vivaan Ahuja who is a MMA trainer. Vivaan is happily married to Rukmini Maitra aka Anshika for three long years. One fine day, Anshika got ill and later it was revealed that she is being diagnosed with a rare disease that will soon stop her heart beat if not treated on time. For the treatment, Vivaan was needed 70 lakhs and he had only option to sell his house to seek the treatment of his wife. Now, Anshika is in the hospital for a treatment and it was being attacked by a group of criminals. Well, Vivaan has decided to face the criminals alone and save his wife at any cost. Will, Vivaan able to do that is what this story is all about.

This film also stars Neha Dhupia aka a police inspector, Chandan Roy Sanyal is a noted criminal, Amole Gupte and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story and screenplay of this film is quite engaging from start to end. Vidyut again left a strong impression that he is one of the best action hero we had in Hindi films. Vidyut and Rukmini soulful romance is quite evident throughout the film. This film has right amount of emotions and actions which goes hand in hand. You will blown away by the action of this film and the way they have been executed. We have seen such films in the past but this is a special treatment given by the director to its plot story. If you are an action lover fans and want to witness some high octane action which matches to the Hollywood level, than this is a perfect film for you. The actions performed by Vidyut and the whole team are new and raw. The background music adds meaning to the whole story and the action scenes. My favorite dialogue, ‘Hum Ne Tumko Mugambo Samjha Tha Par Tum To Rambo Nikle.’
Sanak movie has been directed by Kanishk Varma and and written by Ashish Prakash Verma. This movie have been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Aashin A. Shah. The cinematography has been done by Pratik Deora and editing work handled by Sanjay Sharma. The musical score has been given by Saurabh Bhalerao.
Sanak movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly be around 7 to 8 crores maximum.
Altogether, Sanak is a well written film and surely a one time watch for action lovers.
