But the film didn’t fare well at the box office and soon the theaters went empty. This has occurred heavy losses to distributors.

On Wednesday, August 9, Salman called distributor to compensate for their loss. According to a source, “Salman Khan had promised to return his distributor’s money by the end of July. However, he was busy shooting abroad for Tiger Zinda Hai. Now that he’s back in Mumbai, he has agreed to return Rs. 32.5 crores to the distributors. This is half of the total losses suffered by distributors over Tubelight.”

For Jab Hary Met Sejal, the same distributor face the losses of 50 crores and it looks like SRK will follow Salman Khan’s footsteps to repay the losses due to the poor performance of his film.
