Rashtra Kavach Om is the latest Hindi film which has been officially released in cinema theaters on July 1, 2022. The screen time of this film is around 2 hours 15 minutes.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Aditya Roy Kapur aka Om Rathore, who is a special force para-commando officer. Now, Om has a mission to save the country singlehandedly and prove that his father Jackie Shroff is a true patriot not a traitor. Will, Om able to do this is what this story is all about. This film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Raj in key roles.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story of this film has lot of plot and twists and it is difficult to understand. The presentation of this story is not good and it lacks thrilling element. The only good thing is the action scenes which looks up to the mark rest is just forgettable. There are few twist in the story at the end but till that time you are already dozed off. There are few dialogues which are good, rest are just predictable. This film hardly excites you with its story and screenplay. The bike scene seems like inspired from Mission Impossible movies. The gun machine scene seems to be inspired from Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) or Kaithi (2019) movie. Talking about the performances, both Aditya and Sanjana couldn’t able to deliver their best and it was just passable. There are few scenes which wasn’t needed and forced humour not worked for me. Ashutosh Rana, Prakash Raj and Jackie Shroff talent have been badly wasted. The makers tried too much to work but nothing worked in the end. A twisted story that goes no where. The production value is good but I feel that the budget of this movie is non-recoverable from the tickets. I feel that there should have been a known hero here, a two hero film could have worked somehow but here there is no chance of a hope too. The songs are just forgettable, just like the scenes. Infact, I feel after some time that I am watching Baaghi 3. Audience are bored to see such films and it seems repetitive again. Hope the makers come up with something new and organic that touch emotionally to the audience.

Rashtra Kavach Om movie budget reportedly being around 38 to 40 crores maximum.
Altogether, a loose script has failed this film which could have been a decent war drama. Better luck next time Aditya Roy Kapur.
