Radhe Film Piracy: Delhi High Court Orders WhatsApp To Suspend Services Of Users Involved In This

Radhe movie was officially released on May 13, 2021 as per pay per view model on Zee5 App and Zeeplex. That means, anyone who wants to watch this film must have to give 249 rupees to watch Salman Khan’s Radhe. Well, no one has thought that, Radhe will be one of the most pirated films of 2021 in India. Even, Radhe movie could have been found on social media websites like WhatsApp and Telegram. As per the latest update, Delhi High Court has ordered WhatsApp to suspend the services of users who were involved in pirating Radhe movie on this social media app.

Few days back, Salman Khan himself wrote a long post where he said, “We offered you to watch our film Radhe at a reasonable price of INR 249
per view. Inspite of that pirated sites are streaming Radhe illegally
which is a serious crime. Cyber Cell is taking action against all these
illegal pirated sites. Please don’t participate in piracy of the Cyber
Cell will take action against you as well. Please understand you will
get into a lot of trouble with the Cyber Cell.”

Even after several warnings from Salman Khan and Zee Entertainment, the piracy of Radhe movie remains flourishing. This led to Zee Entertainment to approach Delhi High court as per IANS report. Zee has mentioned few mobile numbers who were involved Radhe movie piracy on WhatsApp. Delhi High Court not only gave order to suspend their WhatsApp services. They also told mobile cellular networks like Vodafone, Jio, Airtel to disclose the details of the people related to the said numbers and provide it to Zee Entertainment to take further legal action.

Many film industry insiders already claimed that Radhe is one of the most pirated films this year and could have lead to a loss of 70 to 80 percent revenue out of total earnings.
