Padmaavat Early Collection Trends And Morning Occupancy Day 1

Padmaavat movie has released worldwide today and it got around 3000 screens in India. Due to ban in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, nearly 20 percent screens were cut off. Apart from that, there was a limited release of Padmaavat in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Even, there is a Karnataka Bandh today, which also spoil Padmaavat collection.

Padmaavat-Review

In spite of all these major problems, this film has got 35 to 40 percent audience occupancy on the first day in Morning shows. What is more surprising that, it has received around 60 percent occupancy yesterday at the paid previews from which it has earned 5 crores.

Padmaavat has opened well in Mumbai, Delhi, West Bengal and Andra Pradesh, that will help the collections to go cross 25 crores on the first day itself. We hope, this film gets released in a proper way tomorrow on the Republic Day (January 26, 2018).

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this film has been made with 200 crores budget and that’s why it needs a great income to overcome the making cost. I have seen this film today and I can assure you that it will recover its cost easily and will earn over 200 crores in its lifetime run. This film has 2 weeks time to perform solo at the box office and then it will face a clash with Padman and Aiyaary on February 9, 2018. Till then, it can have a good run at the box office.

Altogether, Padmaavat shines in the morning shows on Day 1. Let’s hope for a mega-collection on the first day.
