In the morning shows, Padmaavat got an audience occupancy of 35 to 40 percent. In Afternoon shows, the audience occupancy was 40 to 45 percent. What has surprised us is, the evening audience occupancy, which was 70 to 75 percent. The night audience occupancy report is still not confirmed but it will be above 70 percent only. With this, the average audience occupancy for the day is 55 percent.

Talking about the collection of the first day, it will be in the range of 17 crores to 19 crores. If this film would have released peacefully in India, it might have crossed 25 crores on day 1 but now it looks impossible. Surprisingly, the makers have earned over 5 crores from paid previews in over 1200 shows across India.

Made with a 200 crores budget, this film can easily recover its cost in the lifetime. Luckily, Akshay Kumar has shifted the release date of his film from January 25 to February 9, 2018, that also helped Padmaavat in a big way.

Altogether, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat will cross 100 crores within a week.
