Nishabdam movie was first supposed to release in January 2020 but earlier scheduled for April 2, 2020. Well, due to Covid-19, this Telugu film was shelved numerous times and finally made it to OTT platform Amazon Prime on October 2, 2020. You can watch this film in Tamil, and Malayalam dubbed version as well.

This is a suspense drama starring R Madhavan as Anthony Gonsalves, Anushka Shetty as Sakshi, Anjali as Maha, Michael Madsen as Richard Dickens, Subbaraju and Shalini Pandey in key roles.
The story is like, R Madhavan is a musician and he falls in love with a mute and deaf Anushka. They two visit a haunted house in Seattle as Anushka needs a painting which is there in the house. Soon, it is being shown that R Madhavan has been murdered and no one knows about the criminal. Who killed R Madhavan? a ghost or a normal person. There is a senior police inspector Michael too, who had a dark shade role and is cynical at times. There is an obsessive friend of Anushka, Shalini who didn’t liked anyone proposes her friend. So, the story follows about finding out the killers of R Madhavan.
I can completely say, that this film has a lot of twist and turns which will make you sit at the edge of your seat. The screentime is 2 hours 5 minutes which is completely fine. The USP of this film is music, which is grooving and exciting. The musical score has been given by Girishh G and Soundtrack by Gopi Sundar. This film had been completely shot it foreign locations and the visuals looks breathtaking.
The cinematography has been done by Shaneil Deo and he has captured several beautiful scenes, especially the outside one. This film has been brilliantly edited by Prawin Pudi. Helmed by Hemanth Madhukar, this film has been written by Mani Seiyon. The screenplay is the plus point here, as normally films like this is hard to understand without a proper screenplay. The screenplay credit goes to Kona Venkat. This film has been produced by Kona Film Corporation and People Media Factory.
The early response of Nishabdam movie is mixed to positive from critical side. The critical ratings is in the range of 3 to 3.5 stars.
The budget of Nishabdam is around 30 crores and it is perfectly fine. This movie will definitely garner buzz on online space and it could be termed as a hit film. What if it could have get a normal release in theaters? In that scenario too, this film would have recovered its budget and termed as an above average or a hit film.
Last word: Watch it for R Madhavan, Michael Madsen And Anushka Shetty’s brilliant performance. Also watch it for its twisting story.
