South star Vijay is all set to entertain the audience with Mersal film at this Diwali Festival. Mersal is an action-drama film where Vijay is essaying three different roles in this movie. At the latest, we have ensembled some interesting details of Mersal film that every Vijay fans need to know.

Mersal movie has been made with a budget around 130 crores, with that it has become the costliest film of Vijay’s career. Mersal is being directed by Atlee, who has earlier worked with Vijay in Theri. The budget is humongous and the Diwali release is the right time to make big money at the box office.

The screen count of Mersal has still not disclosed but it would be over 2000 screens. Mersal also stars Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon and S. J. Surya in key roles. This film is being written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, who has earlier written Bahubali Series and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The music of this film has been composed by A.R. Rahman.

By looking all these above factors, the first-day collection prediction will be over 20 crores, followed by 60 to 65 crores in the first weekend. The lifetime collection of Mersal will be over 150 to 160 crores. Mersal is slated to hit the screens on October 18, 2017.

Altogether, Mersal will certainly become the biggest ever hit in Vijay’s career.
