2016 was the year when Ajay Devgn has released its directorial film Shivaay on big screen where it had a clash with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Still, Shivaay did perform well and crossed the milestone of 100 crores despite clash and demonetization. After almost 5 years, Ajay is back on director’s chair with MayDay movie.

On the beautiful afternoon of Saturday, November 7, Ajay has announced his Mayday movie, where he will essay the role of a pilot. This film is also an important one as it will feature Megastar Amitabh Bachchan in it.

The duo has worked together in several movies and have a good rapport together. After 7 years, Big B will work together with Ajay in a film.

Those who have seen Shivaay knows that Ajay has a great directorial skill and he can surprise us by sitting behind the chairs. The story of Mayday hasn’t been divulged but it would be a edge of the seat human drama. The budget of Mayday hasn’t been revealed yet but it would be reportedly over 70 to 80 crores. Back in 2016, Ajay almost spent 100 crores to direct an action film like Shivaay.

The makers will start the shooting of Mayday in December 2020 in Hyderabad. That means makers are eying for an year end release in 2021. The other starcast and even Heroine hasn’t been finalised yet.

Apart from this, Ajay will next be seen in Bhuj: The Pride Of India and RRR.
