Marco movie has been officially released in theaters on December 20, 2024. Despite big movies around the corner, Marco has managed to break the jinx and now it is ruling the box office in its own way across India. Marco movie is an action thriller film with a runtime of around 2 hours 35 minutes. This film has been certified “A” rating by Indian Censor Board.
Story: The story revolves around a Kerala based family who does gold smuggling on a larger scale. Their family shakes to the core when one of their man killed by some unknown assailant. To find out the culprit, head of the family Siddique aka George is on a mission to kill the person who is responsible for this mess. On the other side, the younger brother of George i.e, Unni Mukundan aka Marco has chosen a violent path to took the avenge of his brother. Will, George and Marco able to take revenge or will they fall into trouble is what you need to watch in this film.
This film also features Jagadish, Abhimanyu Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Yukti Thareja, Ishaan Shoukath, Sreejith Ravi and many others in key roles.
The reviews of Marco is highly positive and from second week, it has also gaining momentum in Hindi market in dubbed version. This film holds 7.9 stars rating out of 10 on IMDB website.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: When it comes to violence, Indian Cinema has not taking new leap with Animal (2023), Kill (2024) and now Marco. You can easily say that Marco is one of the most violent Indian film and it is not for everyone. Such bloodshed i have seen majorly in Korean cinema and this Marco seems inspired from there. The story is pretty simple and is easy to understand. We have seen such things in the past, but what makes this movie different is the overdose of violence and its presentation. The movie heavily dependent on the protagonist and Unni played a justifiable role here. The screenplay is good and that’s what make this film interesting. One more thing I must say is, the action sequences have been beautifully crafter and picturized by cameraman. The background music and editing work was like salt and pepper in this film. When every filmmaking department works in unity than only you will see an output like Marco. Music composer Ravi Basrur is highly talented and he made another great score for this film. Making such a good film on a low budget is an excellent task and it needs to be learned by Bollywood counterpart. The Hindi dubbing is also good and I enjoyed the film in a big way. It is like Animal meets KGF’s Rocky and produced Marco. I am not used to such violence but audience is liking it and that’s important to us. This is the first Malayalam film who has crossed 4 crores nett plus in Hindi market which is a big thing. This movie working only on pure word of mouth which is a good sign for new filmmakers. If you are a cinema lover this movie will stay with you as it is simple and yet exciting. Director needs to be commended here as he is a madman and he is one hell of a person. This is not just a film but a revolution in Indian Cinema. Now, more filmmakers will come and join them as they know audience like such films too despite A rating in India.
Marco film has been written and directed by Haneef Adeni. It has been produced by Shareef Muhammed and edited by Shameer Muhammed. The cinematography work done by Chandru Selvaraj and Music given by Ravi Basrur.
Marco movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet but it could be reportedly around 24 to 25 crores maximum.

Altogether, Marco is one of those films that audience is excited to watch across India despite language barriers. This film also proves that there is so much talent in India and Unni Mukundan is such a gem of an actor. He has a long way to go in films. So far Marco has collected 4.42 crores nett in India in Hindi version in 2 weeks and it is a huge hit in India too.
Last Word: Watch it for Unni and Voilence. Also watch it for the director’s passion towards filmmaking.
