It is the last ever performance of Chadwick Boseman and he did nailed it as Levee. Another star of this film is Viola as Ma Rainey.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: I couldn’t take my eyes away from Chadwick Boseman and realised that we have actually lost a big talent in 2020. Two times in this movie, there are 2 scenes of over 5 minutes performed solely by Chadwick and that scenes will wrench your heart. He lived the character like he owns it. Another stellar performer here is Viola Davis as Ma Rainey, her screen presence in this film is so powerful and magical that you will stare her and get engrossed into her life. If both of them got an Oscar for this, I would be very much happy and pleased.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would reportedly be over USD 30 million dollars (220 crores).

This film has been directed by George C. Wolfie. It has been produced by Denzel Washington, Todd Black, and Dany Wolf. The screenplay has been written by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The editing work has been handled by Andrew Mondshein. The cinematography work has been done by Tobias A. Schliessler.

Altogether, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is the roller coaster ride of words and dialogues that will hit you hard with the reality of the world.

Last word: Watch it for Viola and Chadwick without a doubt. Also watch it for its strong story.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Outstanding (100 percent out of 100).
