Bollywood upcoming film Lucknow Central is about to release on September 15, 2017. This is not the only release on the coming Friday, the other films that are competing named as Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi and Simran.

The Screen time of Lucknow Central is 2 hrs 13 minutes, which is pretty good. The film is being made with a budget around 22 to 25 crores. The story is set in Lucknow, where the main protagonist, Farhan Akhtar lands in a jail for murder charges. He loves singing and wants to be a Bhojpuri singer. As per the trailer, it is very clear that he is planning to jail break along with other fellow jail partners. The film also stars Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal and Gippy Grewal in key roles.

Produced by Nikhil Advani, this film is being directed by Ranjit Tiwari. You might get confused with the story of this film, which looks similar to recent release Qaidi Band, which also revolves around Jail Break. By looking at the trailer and the songs, Lucknow Central doesn’t excite us but hope for the best for the film. The screen count is yet not confirmed but it will be over 1400 to 1500 screens for sure. The first-day collection could be expected around 2 to 3 crores. The weekend collection will be around 9 to 10 crores and the lifetime collection will be around 20 to 22 crores. Another reason for the low collection will be the competition with other releases.

Altogether, Lucknow Central story might touch you but still, it won’t promises a long run at the box office.
