Leo movie has released officially in India on October 19, 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Here we will going to talk about its box office potential for day 1 as per current buzz and advance booking report.

As per Cinetrak data, Leo movie has done 180 Crores pre-sales in world so far. In India alone, Leo movie has done 106 crores pre-sales collections. Well talking about its first day box office potential, Leo movie strongly looks like challenge 48 to 50 crores nett collections in India. Despite its strong Hindi release, Leo has a strong buzz down the south and audience flocking in theaters in huge numbers.

The word of mouth will play a key role here, which is not good so far. The reviews are coming mixed from critics and audience. A real picture about the word of mouth will be known by the end of the day. Thalapathy Vijay’s last film Varisu (2023) has done decent collections in January this year. We could hope, Leo to double the collections for Vijay.

This film is a third part in Lokesh Kanagaraj universe (LCU), after Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022). It is a four days weekend, so the word of mouth will help this film in big way.

LEO has got good amount of screens in Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andra Pradesh. That will also help the movie to earn good across South India. Hindi version response is pretty average and the collections might not be as productive like the original version. Leo movie has reportedly got over 1800-1900 screens across India.

Still, due to LCU fact, audience has hyped the film and may break many first day collection records in Tamil Nadu.
