Thespian Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar has passed away in Mumbai early today on February 6, 2022. She was 92 years old and has been in the hospital from last one month.

In the early January 2022, she was tested Covid positive and taken to the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. She was put on ventilator for few weeks. On January 28, she was off from ventilator due to the improvement in health. On February 5, her condition again deteriorated. On February 6, the sad news has come that Lata Mangeshkar is no more.

Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 28, 1929. She starts singing at the early age of 13 at the year 1942. She has sang over 30000 plus songs in various languages. Her career graph extended to seven decades.

Lata Mangeshkar also conferred with Bharat Ratna award in 2001. She was also honoured with France’s highest award.

Altogether, Lata Mangeshkar has left a long list of melodies that people will cherish forever. She will always be etched in every Indian’s heart.
