Kurup is one of the firsts Malayalam based Pan-India film which has released across India on November 12, 2021. It is one of the biggest release of Malayalam Cinema as per reports as it got 2356 Shows played in 526 Screens and the numbers still counting up.

Kurup movie has grossed around 4.85 crores in Kerala itself despite 50 percent occupancy status allowed in Cinema Theaters. Apart from that, Kurup has grossed around 52 lakhs in Tamilnadu. As it is a pan-India film and going by the current trend, this film has reportedly grossed around 5 to 6 crores in India.

Meanwhile, Kurup all the shows of Day 2 is also housefull and Day 3 too following the same trend. That means, Kurup movie will be one of the biggest grosser of Malayalam Cinema in 2021 despite 50 percent occupancy rule in Kerala Theaters. Even in UAE, this film has received 70K footfalls on Day 1 which include late night premiere shows is a big achievement to this film. This film is also almost housefull on day 2 in Mumbai city, especially in Malayalam version shows.

Kurup movie has a strong chance to collect around 7 crore gross on day 2 in Kerala itself, thanks to the housefull shows. Kurup movie has been made with a reported budget of around 30 crores.

Directed by Srinath Rajendran, this movie features Dulquer Salmaan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sobhita Dhulipala, Shine Tom Chacko, Bharath Srinivasan, Sunny Wayne in key roles.

Altogether, the word of mouth of this film is highly positive among audience and that will fetch even bigger collections for this film on Day 2 and Day 3, which will be followed by the weekdays. As there is no big competition in theaters this week, Kurup has a chance to flourish across Pan-India.
