Today, I saw an incredibly well-made film KGF, which released in 5 different languages. I was blown away by the film by looking its scale and art work. You won’t think of this film as just a Kannada film as it has all the element of a masala Bollywood entertainer.
Starcast: Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag And More
Story And Dialogues: Yash aka Rocky born in 1951 to a mother who died when he was just 8 to 10 yrs old. Her mom told him how to live a life in a cruel world but the boy didn’t know the path to live his life. He took the wrong path and gets into a gang and over the years he become a brand Rocky Bhai. Soon, a big gold mining mafia comes from Bengluru and meets Rocky. He gives him a task to fulfill in Kolar Gold Films (KGF). This is how the film follows till the very end. The starcast is powerful, along with some great editing. The dialogues will make you clap as it has deep meaning in it. They have used senior actor Anant Nag as a narrator of this film and he did a brilliant job.
Music, Editing and Cinematography:
Mufti movie music producer Ravi Basrur has given an amazing musical score which flows with the story like a water. The editing is crisp and marvelous. I loved watching action scenes with great editing effects. The dark grey affects in the color tone of the movie makes its more realistic. The cinematography is applauseworthy by Bhuvan Gowda. He lifted the 40 kg camera on his shoulder and shot the whole film with such artistic visuals.
After directing Uggram, Prashant Neel come a long way in KGF movie. He did the career defining role in this movie. He along with Bhuvan Gowda has created magic on the screen. I personally felt, this is one of the best film in a decade, if we look in to every filmmaking department. His four years hardwork for this movie is visible in every larger than life scenes.
Final Verdict: A must watch film for all the movie lovers around the world. Rocking Star Yash won’t disappoint you at all. That’s What I feel.. He came, He Saw.. He Conquered… DUNIYAA..!
