Karthikeya 2 movie has officially released in India in five languages Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The screen time of this fantasy mystery thriller film is around 2 hours 25 minutes. This film has been certified by UA Ratings from Indian Censor Board.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Nikhil Siddharth aka Dr Karthik who has been chosen by destiny for an important purpose to save the world. As per the story, there was big bang years ago in Mythology during the time of Lord Krishna. So, it has been written that, in Kalyug, there will be same kind of big bang and there is a solution to save the world. The only person chosen for this task is Karthik who don’t have a firm belief in God but now it has to change his path to save the world from the coming deadly virus. This film also stars Anupama Parameswaran aka Mugdha.
This film also features Anupam Kher aka Dhanvanthri, Srinivasa Reddy aka Sadananda, Harsha Chemudu, Adithya Menon, Praveen, Satya, Tulasi and many more.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story has been nicely written and the dialogues in Hindi is also decent. The dubbing work in Hindi language is OK as I have watched this movie in Hindi version. Fantasy genre hasn’t been explored well in India but this film has done that and I am amazed with the curiosity throughout the movie. In sort, I watched this film in Hindi version and I didn’t fell bored for a second. The first half is around 1 hour and it’s the second half which is around 1 hour 20 minutes. The first half is good but it’s the second half which is best. Talking about the performances, I liked both the lead actors Nikhil and Anupama. I am totally surprised to see Anupam Kher who takes a very late entry in second half. Still, watching Mr. Kher is a treat to watch in this movie. There is one monologue of Anupam Kher over Lord Krishna which is brilliantly written and performed. Despite minimal budget, the director has made a good film which is not just interesting but also making us curious with every passing minute. The director has grabbed the audience attention from start to end. I haven’t seen a single audience who went out of the show even for a minute while the movie was playing. The story is so interesting that you forget the poor VFX. There has been lot of research work went in to this film and that looks visible. The cinematography is decent but some shots are excellent. My favourite shot is a long shot in desert in the first half, where two vehicles coming from opposite direction. The production value is good but could have been better. At the end, the musical score by Kaala Bhairava is up to the mark and enhances the story.
This film has been written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It have been produced by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad. Thie musical score has been given by Kaala Bhairava. The editing and cinematography work done by Karthik Ghattamneni.
Karthikeya 2 movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers but it could reportedly be around 20 to 22 crores maximum.
Altogether, Karthikeya 2 is one of the best adventure fantasy explorer type film which is a must watch with your family and friends.
