Varun Dhawan’s comedy-drama Judwaa 2 has now defeated the lifetime collection of Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha. In this way, Judwaa 2 has now become the second highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2017.

Released on September 27, 2017, Judwaa 2 has started on a good note at the box office. Due to Dusshera Festival, Judwaa 2 has earned over 50 crores in the first weekend. It has collected 98 crores in the first week itself. On the 8th day, Judwaa 2 has crossed 100 crores mark. On 18th Day, Judwaa 2 has collected 1.25 crores, which makes the total to 134.28 crores.

In the past, Judwaa 2 has shattered the records of Jolly LLB 2, Tubelight, Kaabil and now it has broken the lifetime collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, TEPK has earned 133.60 crores in a lifetime.

Judwaa 2 has also become one of the most profitable films of 2017. It is his second film in a calendar year to cross 100 crores mark, after Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Judwaa 2 has also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Taapsee Pannu and Anupam Kher in key roles.

Altogether, Judwaa 2 might beat the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, which has earned 139 crores lifetime.
