Pan-India film Jailer has officially released in cinema theaters across India in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam versions on August 10, 2023. There is a huge hype for Superstar Rajnikanth starrer film across India and it will surprise the trade pundits on day 1. Let’s find out how much it will collect on day 1 in India.

First of all, almost all shows of first four days in Chennai is sold out. Even Monday to Thursday shows in Chennai is in fast filling mode. As the film released on Thursday, so there is four days long extended weekend for this movie. As per cinetrak information, as many as 18.6 lakh tickets have been sold till Sunday, which is around 33 crores gross only in Tamilnadu.

Even shows in North India are showing good responses, especially in Mumbai and Delhi. Its good to see audience coming back to theaters with full swing. Again, the word of mouth will play a crucial role from day 1 onwards.

As per the current trend, Jailer movie has got around maximum 5000 screens across India. Jailer movie is expected to open around 20 to 22 crores nett maximum in Tamilnadu. Jailer could easily collect around 36 to 38 crores nett maximum in India for day 1. Definitely, Jailer will gross over 50 crores gross collection in India. In Hindi market, Jailer is expected to collect around 4 to 5 crores nett including Hindi version.
