Akshay Kumar’s one of the most awaited release Housefull 5 is officially confirmed for its release on Diwali 2024. We all know the Diwali in 2024 will be on Thursday October 31, which is a perfect four day weekend for a film to rock at the box office.

In the past we have seen Housefull (2010), Housefull 2 (2012), Housefull 3 (2016) and Housefull 4 (2019) and all of these films were larger than life and loved by the masses. After a haitus of 4 years, audience will again see the magic of Housefull series on the 70 mm screens.

Akshay Kumar took to social media and wrote, ” Get ready for FIVE times the madness! Bringing to y’all #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5. Directed by @Tarunmansukhani. See you in cinemas on Diwali 2024! @Riteishd @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala.”

We all know that, Khiladi Kumar recent 6 films haven’t met with blockbuster fate and turned out to be flops at the box office. Now, a film like Housefull 5 will give Akshay a tremendous boost in his career. As we all know, Akshay is good in comedy since Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi (1997) and Hera Pheri (2000).

Talking about casting, only Akshay Kumar and Ritiesh Deshmukh is finalised and other starcast is yet to be cast. This movie will be helmed by Dostana (2008) fame director Tarun Mansukhani, whose last film was Drive (2019). This film will be produced by Nadiadwala Grandson under the guidance of Sajid Nadiadwala. Interestingly, Housefull 4 was a big hit and crossed 200 crores nett lifetime collection still the film director Farhad Samji has not been given the director’s chair in this movie.
