Hostel Daze season 1 was released in December 13, 2019 and garner immense popularity on Amazon Prime. Now, Hostel Daze Season 2 has officially released on Amazon Prime on July 23, 2021. There were a total of 5 episodes with a total screentime of around 2 hours 8 minutes. This season was short as compare to the first season.
The story of Hostel Daze 2, revolves around four friends Adarsh Gourav aka Ankit Pandey, Shubham Gaur aka Rupesh Bhati, Nikhil Vijay aka Jhantoo, Luv Vispute aka Chirag Bansal. They live in boys hostel and dream about being in relationship with girls who were living in girls hostel, next to them. Ankit did get some positive vibe from Ahsaas Channa aka Akanksha. Well, Rupesh was in love with a girl and that girl also likes him. Well, the problem rises when another girl also started liking Rupesh. In this mess, Rupesh didn’t got anyone. Jhaanto also fall in love for a girl but it turned out that girl likes Rupesh and so his heart also got broken. In sort, none of their love stories worked out, expect Ankit one.
Well, after living in a hostel for a year, Ankit, Rupesh, Chirag left for their home in holidays but Jhantoo chooses to be in hostel. It was later evident that, these guys love Hostel life more then their actual home. On the other hand, Jhantoo is upset of being almost alone in the hostel for few weeks. When, these three returns suddenly to the hostel, Jhantoo actually turns happy. They all realised one thing that, Hostel Daze are always best. There are lot of things that audience will love it in this series.
The series also stars Ayushi Gupta aka Nabomita, Suyansh Patel aka Karan, Sahil Verma aka Rakhi, Danish Akhtar aka Mohit Panda and many others.
The early reviews of Hostel Daze 2 is out now and they are in a range of 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Anything that makes you connected means that either it has been written pretty well or performed well, sometime even both. Hostel Daze 2 has been written pretty well and acted superbly. The dialogues are too relatable to today’s youth and overall its story. In sort, you will definitely remember your college days and hostel life. The makers have actually made a good series or they would have better called it a film. There are too much abusive words in this series which might not liked by many but it will be ok ok for youth. The White Tiger fame Adarsh Gaurav is also essaying an important role of Ankit here. My favourite character of this series is Jhantoo played by Nikhil Vijay and he has a long way to go in this showbiz. The location of this season is Symbiosis College campus, Pune. Most of the scenes have been shot there. For me, the show has lived up to the expectations and we could hope for another season soon.

Hostel Daze 2 makers didn’t revealed the budget of this series but it could reportedly be around 80 lakhs to 1 crore maximum.
Altogether, Hostel Daze 2 is one of those series that you take you to your college days with in no time.
