From 2001 to 2011, Harry Potter series has given has 8 big grand films that is impossible to recreate again. All the 80’s and 90’s Kids have watched these films at some point of time in their life. If you have seen all the 8 films on Harry Potter series than you would have definitely turned fans of Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter, Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasley, Emma Watson aka Hermione Granger, Robbie Coltrane aka Rubeus Hagrid and many others. On the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter first film, the makers have released a documentary of this film where the lead actors and directors have shared their story of making a magical and most successful film like Harry Potter. This documenatary has been released on HBO Max on January 1, 2022.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) director Chris Columbus speaks in length talking about how difficult was it to search for Harry Potter main role which was given to Daniel Radcliffe. It was difficult at first to convince the parents of Daniel but they ultimately agreed to it. The documentary also shows how Emma and Ron got their part in this crazy magical series. The documentary talks about the difficulties and struggles they had over the years to creating Harry Potter movie series.
The documentary also remembers the actors who have left this world especially Alan Rickman who essays the Severus Snape role and Richard Harris aka Albus Dumbledore.
