Story: The story of this webseries revolves around Abhishek Chauhan aka Piyush Prajapathi who works in a private sector company as a professional. Earlier in Cubicles season 1, Piyush was a rookie but now he has matured in a big way to start taking his own decisions. He stays with his co-worker Badri Chavan aka Gautam and they two doing every bit of it to survive in this company. So, Piyush isn’t happy with his salary and wanting a pay hike. Despite multiple times, Piyush couldn’t able to get a raise and wants to get a better job in some other company. Well, one fine day, he even offered a good job in a big private sector company. Will, Piyush able to leave his current job for better package or stay in the struggling environment in the current company is what this story is all about. The story is not totally revolved around Piyush but also about other characters played by Nidhi Bisht aka Megha Asthana, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Arnav Bhasin, Jaimini Pathak, Ayushi Gupta and many others.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Well, if you have ever worked in a corporate job or ever want to join such a place, this is a perfect webseries for you. We all know, the ruthlessness of the corporate or private sector jobs and how hard is to get an appraisal. Here in this series, we can see the struggle of Piyush who isn’t happy with his work or the appraisal. Even, a character Shetty wants a 3 months leave for paternal purpose. Everyone wants to grow big in this office work culture but only few gets promoted and many even get demoted. Still, what you need to be sustain in this kind of job has been aptly shown. Two things are the highlight of this series, one is the appraisal meeting and another one was the farewall of an old office colleague played by Jaimini Pathak. The writers have given their best shot here to tell the story as simply as possible. The dialogues are good and some even star with you. The watch time is just under 3 hours, as if you are watching a big Hindi film rather than a webseries. One thing is true, you will miss the office days if you are not a part of it. The screenplay is good and there are hardly any dull moment. Taking about performance, Abhishek did surprised me in his uncomfortable job role. Ayushi Gupta was also good in this series as a rookie. Shivankit even surprised me in one of the scenes where he was drinking with Abhishek and Badri. In sort, you will remember all the characters in this series, including a Chaiwala. We all search for emotions and connections from the story to its characters and it is visible in this series quite strongly.
Cubicles Season 2 has been directed by Chaitanya Kumbhakonum. It has been produced by Anurabh Kumar. The musical score has been given by Karthik Raon and the cinematography done by Ashwin Kadamboor. It have been written by Avinash Singh, Vijay Verma and Siddhartha Tiwari. The editing work has been handled by Saumya Sharma.
Cubicles Season 2 budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly be in 1-2 crores for sure.
