Akshay Kumar has made the impossible for earning over 25 crores at the box office on day 1. It is by far the biggest earning for Khiladi Kumar.

Gold movie got released in over 3200 screens in India. It was being made with a budget of 80 crores and has able to earn around 25.25 crores. Interestingly, this collection is more valuable as it has come when there was a clash with another movie at the box office.

Satyameva Jayate has troubled Gold at the box office otherwise the latter would have collected over 35 crores minimum in a solo release. Gold is looking very strong at the box office and will easily earn over 75 to 80 crores in five days long weekend. It has a golden chance to earn over 150 crores plus lifetime collection at the box office.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold also stars Sunny Singh, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh, Kunal Kapur, Mouni Roy and many more. It was a well made film by the director, which was being produced by Excel Entertainment.

Altogether, Gold story has every good element that make this film a complete patriotic film.
