One of the biggest Marathi releases of 2023 is Ghar Banduk Biryani which has hit the screens this Friday. Unlike the big expectations, this film fails to double the buzz which has also impacted in its collections.

Released in 450 screens plus in Maharashtra, Ghar Banduk Biryani movie has reportedly collects around 60 lakhs on day 1. On day 2, Akash Thosar starrer film has pulled around 70 lakhs maximum as per reports. In two days, Ghar Banduk Biryani film has earned around 1.30 crores maximum in theaters. On day 3, this masala entertainer has a strong chance to collect around 70 lakhs to 1 crore. If that happens, Ghar Banduk Biryani movie will make a three days total around 2 to 2.30 crores maximum.

Directed by Hemant Awtade, Ghar Banduk Biryani movie features Akash along with Sayaji Shinde, Nagraj Manjule, Sayli Bhagat in titular roles. Note, the film will have its sequel soon.

This is for the first time, we have seen Nagraj sir in full-fledged role and he somehow makes a striking impact in his police officer role. Still, I feel that Sayaji Shinde has stole the show by a big margin. One thing, I liked about this film is, it is a masala entertainer film and even easily connect with the Hindi going audience too.
