Gaslight is the latest movie which has officially released on OTT platform Disney + Hotstar on March 31, 2023. The screen time of this film is around 111 minutes.
Story: The story revolves around a Palace of Mayagarh. So, Sara Ali Khan aka Meesha is coming to the palace to meet his father after 10 years. She was upset with the past incidents when her mother passed away and her father married to Chitrangada Singh aka Rukmani. When, Meesha enters the palace, she couldn’t able to find her father and sooner she understands that something is fishy. Rukmani treats Meesha without much love and acceptance. On the other hand, Meesha gets close with home servant Vikrant Massey aka Kapil. Meesha takes help of Kapil to find out where is her father Daata. Will she find her father and forgive him for the mistakes? What will happen to Rukmini after Meesha’s entry in Palace? Who is Kapil? all these questions will be answered when you will watch this movie.
This film also stars Akshay Oberoi, Rahul Dev, Shishir Sharma, Shataf Figar and many others.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is interesting and there are lot of twist and turns especially in the end. You can’t call it predictable as there are few things that will keep you hooked and they are unthinkable. Good story by the makers for sure. The direction is superb and the makers have left no void during the screenplay. The thrill element is low but still its ok. The dialogues are good and the casting is perfect too. Talking about performances, Rukmini and Meesha impresses me to the core. Rukmini as a queen of the palace has given justice to the role. Even, Meesha as handicapped girl is promising. This is totally different and unexpected performances from both Chitrangada and Sara. The production value of this film is good and it sets the mood right. The editing could have been much better but none the less it is ok. Despite some minor flaws, I enjoyed watching Gaslight movie. The background music is just passable.

Gaslight movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly being around 15 to 16 crores maximum.
Altogether, Gaslight is surely a one time binge watch and you will enjoy to the core.
