You must have heard of famous detective Sherlock Holmes but you have hardly heard of her sister Enola Holmes. Netflix has released their latest movie Enola Holmes worldwide on Netflix on September 23, 2020.

So far, this film is getting rave reviews from the critics in a range of 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. Apart from that IMDB rated Enola Holmes with 6.8 rating out of 10. On the other hand, Rotten Tomatoes gave it 90 percent rating and Metacritic gave 63 percent rating.
Directed by Harry Bradbeer, this film has been produced by Mary Parent and story has been based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.
Millie Bobby Brown aka Enola Holmes has stole the show as she is the main hero of this film. This film is about a missing mother and how Enola starts a mission to find her mom. Her mother left few clues which helped Enola to find her mom. Will she able to find her mother or not is what the story follows. This film also stars Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Enola’s mother, Louis Partridge and many others.
Enola Holmes movie is 2 hours 3 minutes long but it won’t make you bore for a single second. The production work is flawless and it gives us a good vibe while you watch the film. There were some excellent cinematography by Giles Nuttgens, I especially loved the train sequence at the start of the film. The screenplay was like a flowing water which looks crystal clear. This film has been released in Hindi dubbed version as well for Indian audiences with English subtitles.
The budget of Enola Holmes hasn’t yet revealed by the makers but it would be reportedly around 500 to 550 crores, as this is a periodic film with heavy costumes and VFX. Enola Holmes response is good and that means it’s will turn out to be a huge hit on Netflix OTT platform. If this film could have released in theaters than it had a great potential to be turned out to be a big hit.
Last word: Watch it for Enola Holmes character played by Millie, she will win your heart. Also watch it if you like detective films.
