Daman Hindi version has released on February 3, 2023 and since than it is doing decent collections in the northern belt. It is the first Odia film which has been released in theaters in Hindi version.

Babushaan Mohanty essayed the role of Dr. Siddharth in this film who goes to Malkangiri district in Odisha to cure the patients of Malaria. In this journey, he learns about the problems of 151 villages who are disconnected to the mainland of Odisha. Well, Daman Hindi has been released in 100 plus screens in India.

Daman has scored 10 lakhs on day 1, followed by 15 lakhs on day 2 and around 25 lakhs on day 3. On fourth day, Daman earns 5 lakhs, on day 5 it collects around 4 lakhs. Reportedly, Daman movie collects 3 lakhs on day 6, which took the 6 days total around 62 lakhs. On day 7, Daman movie has a strong chance to collect around 3 to 6 lakhs at the box office. If that happens, Daman Hindi version seven days total will be around 65 to 68 lakhs nett.

Debi Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya have directed this film which turned out to be a blockbuster affair in Odisha. In Hindi version, Daman is not getting a kind of response it needed and the reasons could be many, Pathaan affect or wrong release date. Due to no promotion in Hindi market, many are not even aware of Daman Hindi release. Whatever the reasons are! one thing is sure that Daman movie will be a sure shot hit when it get released on OTT platform.
