Arjun Rampal starring Daddy film has started on a slow note at the box office. On the very first show, it has a low occupancy report which is not a good sign for the movie.

On the morning show itself, it has received an audience occupancy of 10 percent. In the afternoon and evening shows, the audience occupancy was only 15 percent, which is not at all a good sign for this movie.

This film has been made with a budget of 20 crores, in which 7 crores were spent in promotions. The screen count of this film is over 1000 crores, which is not enough for this movie to rake a big moolah. Apart from that, Daddy film is facing a clash with Sunny Deol starring Poster Boys, which also released this week. As per the early reports, Poster Boys is performing better than Daddy film. Even the film critics gave mixed response for Daddy film but interestingly they praised the performance of Arjun Rampal.

Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, the film is based on the real life gangster Arun Gawli, who is currently in Jail. The film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Nishikant Kamat, Anand Ingale, Rajesh Shringarpure in key roles.

Altogether, Daddy is a dark film with violence, which is not mainly for the mass audience.
