Censor Board Chief Upsets Over Padmavati Private Screenings!

Padmavati movie is surrounded around the controversy just before its release on December 1, 2017. Protesters feel that the historical facts has been distorted in this film and that’s why they demand a complete ban on the movie. On the other hand, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has privately screened the movie for many News channel journalists. At the latest, Censor Board chief Prasoon Joshi is upset with SLB as he screened the movie without CBFC permission.

Censor Board chief Prasoon Joshi said to News18, “What is the point of the existence of CBFC if you’re going to hold screenings like this?” This clearly means that CBFC is upset with the private screenings of Padmavati movie.

According to a source to News18, “For a screening, you need an exemption certificate from CBFC or the government. The makers can argue that this is a private screening but it looks like they have invited all channels and all the aggrieved parties.”

Well, it looks like Both Censor Board and Protesters are against Padmavati movie. Censor Board is yet to certify Padmavati film, which is slated to release on December 1. Now, the question is, will Censor Board pass this film before the release date or not?

Altogether, Padmavati film screening for many News Channels Journalist has irked Censor Board.
