Padmavati Release Date Postponed To January 12, 2018!

One of the most awaited films of 2017 is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Now, this film is embroiled in a number of controversies before its release. At the latest, we heard that Padmavati film will be postponed to January 2018 release.

Starting Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, this film has been facing a wrath of Karni Sena from Rajasthan, which is a Rajput group. They are opposing this film since its beginning. They are the one who even vandalized the sets of Padmavati on numerous occasions.

According to a source, this film hasn’t been watched by Censor Board and it looks like it won’t get its certification until December 1, 2017. The source further added that Central Government has requested the makers to postpone this project due to Gujarat Elections.

All these reasons delay this project and now it will be released on January 12, 2018. Though there is no official confirmation of the same if that will happen then this film will lose a big chunk of money due to the delayed release.

Altogether, Padmavati movie is the most debatable topic in the media right now and let’s wait and see what will be the final call from the makers.
