Bhediya movie has been officially released in cinema theaters on November 25, 2022. The screen time of this comedy thriller movie is around 2 hours 36 minutes.
Story: The story of this film located in Anurachal Pradesh. So, Varun Dhawan aka Bhaskar Sharma is a road contractor and got an assignment to build a road between the jungle in Anurachal Pradesh. Well, the locals are not ready to give the land for building this road. Even, the road will disbalance the nature and ecology. Over that, Bhaskar is being biten by a wolf. So, Bhaskar is turning into Wolf aka Bhediya and he has to hide this fact from the locals to complete the road project. What happens next follows the rest of the story.
This film also stars Abhishek Banerjee aka Janardan, Kriti Sanon aka Dr Anika Mittal, Deepak Dobriyal aka Panda, Paalin Kabak, Saurabh Shukla and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is decent and presented in a good manner. The screenplay is ok but it could have been much better. The visuals of Anurachal Pradesh shown in this film is eye pleasing. Nature beauty makes this film even more beautiful. As if, watching a fairy tale. The dialogues are nicely written. The situational comedy works for me and may work for the audience as well. The editing is good but this film could have been trimmed to 15 minutes for much more connect and appeal. The production value of this film is good. The VFX work is average still the good story makes everything worth watch. My best dialogue is, ‘Tum Insaan Hi Thik Ho, Jaanwar Banane Ke Kaabil Nahi.’ The background music is great as it adds value to the story. The song Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai nicely used in this film. Two rap tracks used in this movie were quite refreshing and new. Talking about the performances, Abhishek has stole the show and most of the comedy has been done by him. In totality, Bhediya movie message is universal and it tells us that without Nature, we are nothing and it’s important to save the jungles.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, this film has been produced by Dinesh Vijan. It has been written by Niren Bhatt. The cinematography has been done by Jishnu Bhattacharjee. The music has been given by Sachin-Jigar. The editing work has been done by Sanyukta Kaza.
Bhediya movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers but it could reportedly being around 58 to 60 crores.
Altogether, Bhediya is a must watch film with your family as after a long time a film of such type has been made in Bollywood. The last film of such type I have seen is Junoon (1992).
Last Word: Watch it for its beautiful story, acting and visual beauty of nature. This film reminds me of Jungle Book cartoons and movies. There is a twist of Stree movie in the end. So, don’t left the theaters before watching it.
There are good chances that Bhediya movie will become an average affair at the box office. Bhediya might not get the Hit tag at the box office due to average content.
