Sunny Deol starrer film Batwara 1947 released in India in 1900 plus screens and it has completed its day one on a slow note. Here, we are going to discuss about Day one performance and day 2 expectations from Batwara 1947.
On Day 1, Batwara movie scored a collections around 6 crores nett, which is lower than the expectations. On the contrary, Emraan Hashmi starrer collects over 21 crores nett. Made with a decent budget of 50 Crores, it would be a difficult task for this film to recover that budget.
On Day 2, Batwara 1947 movie is selling 5.5k tickets per hour till 9.30 am. Batwara 1947 morning show audience occupancy is reportedly around 9 percent, much better than Yesterday where it was just 6-7 percent at the same time. Today, Sunny’s film is expected to collect around 9 to 11 crores easily, all thanks to Independence Day today.
Batwara 1947 is not a typical action entertainer like Gadar 2 or Border 2 and the audience response is also mixed so far. In this scenario, it would be interesting to see how Sunny’s stardom will carry this film forward.
