Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha movie has officially released in theaters in India and worldwide on August 2, 2024. Earlier, this film was planned to release on July 5, 2024 but due to some reasons it got delayed for a month. The screentime of this romantic drama is around 2 hours 25 minutes. This film has been certified UA ratings by Indian Censor Board.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Ajay Devgn aka Krishna, whose younger version has been played by Shantanu Maheshwari. On the other hand, Tabu played the role of Vasudha whose younger version essayed by Saiee Manjrekar. So the story starts with older version Krishna who is in the jail for killing 2 person and sentenced for 25 years imprisonment. Well, due to his good behavior in jail, he is being released 2.5 years earlier than expected. Meantime we see, that he recalls all his love memories off past with Vasudha. Well, he is now out of jail and wants to leave for Dubai but in heart he is desperate to meet Vasudha, who is already married to Jimmy Sheirgill aka Abhijeet. Even, Vasudha is desperate to meet her past love Krishna, who she didn’t forget yet. What happens next forms the rest of the film. Why Krishna killed the two persons is what this story is all about?

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is nicely written and has been presented equally well by the makers. The slow screenplay has helped the film to take its own course and definitely it has evoke the emotions which the director trying to convey. The movie may not being liked by today’s youth but it will be loved by older generation and 80’s and 90’s Era kid. The dialogues are so simple and meaningful and you will engrossed into the story instantly. This movie reminds me of an older film Aandhi (1975) which has also been made in the similar way back than by Gulzar. I feel like, Neeraj Pandey is giving tribute to Gulzar by his own film Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha. All the songs of this film is heart-touching and totally relatable to the story. I only recommend to the viewers that if you really want to watch this film and feel it than you must keep your phones in the pocket. The makers has presented the film in such a way that you won’t get bored. The twist before interval and end is worth watching. The background music is also good and elevate the story to next level. Music Composer M M Keeravani has given one of the best works till date.The production value is also good and the Mumbai backdrop makes the movie more relatable to me.
