An Action Hero is the latest Hindi language film which has officially being released in theaters across India and worldwide on December 2, 2022. The screen time of this film is around 2 hours 12 minutes and this film has been rated with UA certificate by Indian Censor Board.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Ayushmann Khurrana who essays the role of Manav who is famous Bollywood actor who known for his action films. One fine day, Manav visits Haryana where he mistakenly hit a person named Vicky who ultimately died. Well, Vicky’s brother Jaideep Ahlawat aka Bhoora a local gangster in on a run to nab Manav. On the other hand, Manav knows the intensity of this case and left from Haryana to London. Well, Bhoora is in no mood mourning on his younger brother’s death, he straightaway left to London in search of Manav. What happens next, forms the rest of the story. Will Bhoora able to Kill Manava or Vice versa is interesting thing to know.
An Action Hero early reviews are out now and they are highly positive in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5 stars. This film holds 9.2 stars ratings out of 10 stars on IMBD which is great. Note, the IMDB ratings may change as the reviews vote count increases.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is good and has been presented equally well. This is certainly not a typical family film and may not be liked by all kind of masses. The youth will like this film due to its hardcore action but can’t say anything so far. The story plot is engaging in the first half but most of the actions took place in the second half. The screenplay could have been much better. Well, I must appreciate the dialogue writer who have given some good dialogues to both the actors and media. The excessive action scenes have been well shot but seems too much to handle. The twist in the second half is interesting and relatable. The portraying of News Media Channels in this movie is apt and relevant to today’s time. Boycott Bollywood topic has also being used in this film which is still trending on social media. Talking about performances, Jaideep and Ayushmann both have done their best. The background music is catchy and interesting by Sunny M R. There are hardly two songs in this film which suits to the ongoing story. The editing could have been much better if the makers have cut another 10 to 15 minutes of the film. Akshay Kumar’s cameo is good and a perfect tribute to our 90s action hero. There is an adrenaline rush in the body throughout the second half, thanks to the action set pieces. Note, you won’t get bored as everything looks fresh. The production value is good as most of the scenes have been shot in London. It is a heavy budgeted film but definitely a worth value.
Debutant Anirudh Iyer, you had an impressive debut and we look forward to your upcoming films. It have been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Aanand L Rai. The cinematography has been done by Kaushal Shah and the editing work helmed by Ninad Khanolkar. The musical score have been given by Tanishk Bagchi, Biddu, Parag Chhabra, Amar Jalal and others.
An Action Hero budget hasn’t been revealed but it is reportedly around 38 to 40 crores maximum.
Altogether, An Action Hero is a perfect action film for the masses. A hardcore action adventure that you must watch once at least in theaters.
