Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one a mission to complete his upcoming movies in a lightening speed and the latest in the list is Capsule Gill. This biopic film is based on the life of former Chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill who goes on to extent to save the live of 65 trapped workers in a coal mine in Rajigang in West Bengal in November 1989. He came up with a plan to make a capsule type 2.5 meter chamber to rescue the trapped miners and it worked.

This film is being backed by Pooja Entertainment who has started its shooting from July 4, 2022. Now, Akshay Kumar has reportedly started his schedule for Capsule Gill and he will work till July 31, 2022 for this film. After that, he will keep himself busy for the promotions of Raksha Bandhan movie which is slated to release in August 11, 2022. He will be back in September 2022 to complete the remaining work of this film. The makers are planning to release this film in the second half of 2023.

Capsule Gill movie has been directed by Tinu Suresh Desai who has earlier helmed Akshay’s Rustom movie in 2016, which earned him first national award as best actor. This time too, all eyes will be on Akshay’s performance. The cinematography of this film will be done by Aseem Mishra.

Apart from that, Akshay Kumar’s Capsule Gill other star-cast hasn’t been finalized yet and its seems to be strong male protagonist film and has hardly any scope for female protagonist. Still, we have to wait for the final casting for Capsule Gill film.

Akshay’s list of films that are planned to release in 2022 are Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Mission Cindrella and OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2.
