Unpaused is a series of five short films made in a one whole film released on Amazon Prime on December 18, 2020. The screentime of this film is around 1 hour 53 minutes.

There are five short stories Glitch, Apartment, Rat-a-tat, Vishaanu and Chaand Mubarak.
Glitch short story features Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher. It has been directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. It is a futuristic story of 2032 where over 160 vaccines have failed and there are many new virus coming every new year. So, people those who survive takes extraordinary care for themselves. Here, Gulshan’s character met with Saiyami character on a date what happens next what is interesting to watch.
Another short film Apartment story featu res Richa Chaddha and Sumeet Vyas. Both of them are married couple. Sumeet’s character works in a magazine and had several affairs with their female employees. When, Richa got to know about her husband, she decided to suicide. Well, will she take this drastic step or not is what you must watch here. It has been directed by Nikkhil Advani.
The third short film is Rat-a-tat features Lillete Dubey and Rinky Rajguru. One is 65-year-old widowed lady and the other one is young Rinky who struggles in a film industry. They both are neighbours and forms a unique bond thanks to a rat. What happens next is interesting. This short flick has been directed by Tannishtha Chatterjee.
The fourth short film is Vishaanu featuring Abhishek Banerjee and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan. Both of them is living in a spacious house in a building. Though, they are poor but living in someone else’s place. They are from Rajasthan and can’t afford to go there in coronavirus situation. They are poor family but have big dreams. Will they able to continue living in Mumbai or go to Rajasthan is what you want to see here. It has been directed by Avinash Arun.
The fifth short film features Ratna Pathak Shah and Shardul Bhardwaj. An old unmarried lady wants to have his medicine and picks up an auto rickshaw. She is living a lonely life and coronavirus made her life more lonely. She has some conversations with Autorickshaw man, about marriage and living a single life. Their conversation is a must to see in this short film. It has been directed by Nitya Mehra.
Altogether, all the five short flicks are brilliant and there can’t be any comparisons at all. Still, I mostly liked Chand Mubarak and Rat-a-tat a lot.
The budget of this webseries hasn’t been revealed yet but it would certainly be in few crores.
The critical reviews of Unpaused is out now and many have rated it in a range of 4 to 4.5 stars out of 5.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: One of the best films collage I have ever seen. The name Unpaused is actually relatable to all these five short films in every way. I am overwhelmed to watch such beautiful short stories in just less than 2 hours of time. Thanks to the makers of this film Unpaused.
Last word: Watch it as all the short stories are relatable and touching. Everyone should watch it as it gives a great message of living life even in difficult situations.
