Last week, Salman Khan’s Tubelight hit the small screens on the very Sunday. The response was an average one and it didn’t garner good TRP ratings like Dangal or Toilet Ek Prem Katha.

If we talk about highest TRP ratings of Bollywood movies in 2017. Dangal ranked at number one with the ratings of 16.25 million. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha had 10.92 million ratings. In this chart, Tubelight stands at number three with the TRP rating of 10.25 million.

Well, the fourth position is being held by Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, which has a rating of 8.69 million. On the 5th number is Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, which got 5.25 million. Tubelight actually did well as compare to Kaabil and Raees TRP but it couldn’t able to beat Dangal and Toilet Ek Prem Katha record.

Tubelight released in Eid 2017, has earned a total collection of 121 crores. It was directed by Kabir Khan, which also stars Sohail Khan, Matin Rey Tangu, Om Puri in key roles.

Altogether, Tubelight fails to leave a big impact on Big screens and small screens.
