Toxic movie has finally released in theaters today on August 26, 2026 across India and worldwide. This is a period crime thriller film with a runtime of around 3 Hours 15 Minutes. This film has been certified with “A” rating by Indian Censor Board. Here, I will going to discuss on Toxic movie review.
Story: The story of this film revolves around brother Rocking Star Yash aka Raya and sister Nayanthara (Ganga) bond. The two of them wants to rule Goa which is under the rule of Portuguese in 1947. The duo goes against all the villains in Goa to make a name for themselves. In between this, Yash aka Raya falls in a love trap between Kiara Advani aka Nadia and Tara Sutaria (villains’ daughter) aka Rebecca, which turns their life ups and downs.
This film features Rocking Star Yash aka Raya and Rumi aka Ticket ( Raya’s Son). This film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The style of this film is westernised and Hindi version also feels like English version only. The one liner dialogues are good in Hindi. The first half of this film is about brother and sister. The second half is more about father and son issue. Yash is playing a double role here both father and son (Ticket). The scale of this film is larger than life and it looks great on the big screens. The emotional elements of Toxic is less despite it connects you. The film is solely depend upon Yash and he single handedly gave a unforgettable performance. I feel Nayanthara was the surprise element in this film and her role was good too. Even Kiara has given a good performance. The action set pieces are good and people will definitely like the action scenes. The problem with the film is the story buildup which looks abit scattered. The film is fast paced and hardly gives time to the audience to absorb all at once. The second half is abit slow and the climax might not be liked by many. The production value is good and even all the action scenes. The only problem is that the entertainment value is missing especially in the second half. The background music is superb in this film. The cinematography is very good. The editing could have been better. The canvas was big bit it didn’t went down well. Geethu’s direction and vision is bigger than many Indian male directors too. One time watch film for public.

Last Word: Watch It Only For Rocking Star Yash And Nayanthara. I must say I am impressed by Geethu Mohandas vision.
