Torbaaz is the latest release film on OTT platform Netflix on December 11, 2020. The screentime of this film is around 2 hours 13 minutes. This film has been actually shot in Afghanistan and it also become the first Indian film to be shot in Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan.

Torbaaz movie story is like, Sanjay Dutt aka Naseer who got a job at Taliban embassy. In one of the terrorists attacks, his son and wife died. Soon, he finds that few Afghanistan children were playing cricket match in a field. Naseer now decides to teach the children the skills of cricket. This film talks about a serious issues of Afghanistan, where small children gets trained to become a suicide bomber. On the other hand, Naseer wants small kids to have a better future through cricket training camp. Well, the bad news here is, the terrorist groups didn’t want the kids to play cricket? What happens next is you need to watch. This movie also stars Nargis Fakri, Rahul Mittra, Gavie Chahal and Rahul Dev.
The best thing about this movie is its strong story and secondly the locations of Afghanistan.
Torbaaz movie early critical reviews are out now and they have rated this movie in a range of 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5. It got 6.2 stars rating out of 10 on IMDB.
The budget of Torbaaz hasn’t been revealed but it would be reportedly over 8 to 10 crores.
Directed by Girish Malik, this movie will be produced by Rahul Mittra, Raju Chadha, Puneet Singh, Girish Malik and Amardeep Reen. This story has been written by Girish and Bharti Jhakar. The music of this movie has been composed by Bickram Ghosh, and Vikram Montrose. The cinematography of this movie has been done by Hiroo Keswani.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Torbaaz is a serious film mixed with Terrorism and Cricket. The story is good but it seems a bit slow at bits and parts. This film could have been much better, still I am happy that I saw something new on this film. This film did give a good message and it will remind you of your childhood cricket memories.
Altogether, Torbazz is a feel good movie and it’s a must watch film for kids.
