The Kerala Story movie is one of the most awaited releases of 2023. The screen time of this drama film is around 2 hours 18 minutes. It is being reported that The Kerala Story is based on a true stories of these three girls from Kerala.
Story: The story of this film is revolved around Adah Sharma aka Begum Fatima aka Shalini Unnikrishnan. So, Shalini is from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and for further study she gets to Kasaragod city for Nursing study. Here, she stays with three other girls in hostel. One of the girls out of this four is from a particular community, who is obsessed with the religion. She always preaches about her religion to other girls and tries to convert them to her own religion. Well, the intention of the the religious girl is to convert these girls and sent them to Syria. What happens next forms the rest of the story. This film also stars Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, Pranay Pachauri, Sonia Balani and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is well written and the screenplay is also superb. This film highlights how in the name of religion, some people want Indian girls to convert and then join a terrorist group and works against the country. This is a shocking story and has been presented well by the director Sudipto Sen. The cinematography is superb and the real locations adds value to the story. The casting is also good as all the characters looks relatable and convincing. Its important to see such films as just a film and take this in a positive way. Don’t make this film as a reason for hatred, it is just a story which needs to be conceived in a right way. Many people won’t like this film and even get upset but this is real incident. The editing work is also good as the film looks crisp. The production value is good and the visuals look rich. Its a good film for the masses but it is only for Adults. The movie will take you on a journey which is irresistible, unsettling and upsetting. Talking about performance, it is best performance of Adah Sharma so far.
