The Kerala Story movie has officially released on May 4, 2023 in India and worldwide. Let me mention here first, on the day 1, this film had somewhere around 2000 screens only but the demand of this film has been increased and the screens of this film is almost double. As per the current report, The Kerala Story screens has been updated to over 3000 screens plus in India, which is a huge thing for a mid-budget film.
As I have already told that, the word of mouth will play a crucial role for this film and the word of mouth is highly positive. It has even shocked with the first day collection numbers which is better than The Kashmir Files which released in 2022. The Kerala Story has reportedly collected around 8 crores nett on day 1. Not to forget, even ticket prices in multiplexes have been increased by 5 to 10 percent in Mumbai and other cities. Even, the midnight shows have been added due to huge demand for this film.
On day 2, The Kerala Story advance booking is on fire and it looks like this film will collect around 13 to 15 crores nett. Yes, it is very much possible right now. If that happens, The Kerala Story will collect around 21 to 23 crores nett in mere two days.
The Kerala Story has been made with a mere budget of around 38 to 40 crores maximum, as per reports. That means, by Monday, this film will recover its budget and it will run long for a month for sure. It is also a film which will cross 100 crores nett in India as per current trend.
Directed by Sudipto Sen, this film features Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in titular roles. This film has been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
