The story of this film is like, two girls in different era 90s and 2019 era gets connect with each other through a phone call. Shockingly, both these girls fate and future depend upon each other. Park Shin-hye aka Seo-yeon father has died in an accident and due to the help of Jeon Jong-seo aka Young-sook, the former want to bring her father back. Even, Seo-yeon helps Young-sook, whose death is certain in 1999. Both saved each other through a phone call. Soon, Young-sook turns violent and starts killing others. Will, Seo-yeon able to stop the menace of Young-sook is what you want to watch in this movie.

This film has been brilliantly written and directed by Lee Chung-hyun, who has earlier made a short film Bargain in 2015. This film has been produced by Jeong Hui-sun. The music of this film is appealing and has been composed by Dalpalan. The cinematography has been done by Jo Young-jik. Last but not the least, the screenplay has been beautifully unfolded the story and it is worth watching. At some point of time, I felt that I am watching a Parasite movie, when I saw a scene where there is a underground room in a house.

One scene that touched me in this movie when, Seo-yeon seen his father return to life. She hugged him without saying a word and that is an emotional one. There is also another scene where his father is started fading and she didn’t wanted that at all.

The budget of this film hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be in a range of USD 10 to 12 million.

The early reviews of The Call movie is out now and it is it got 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5. It also got 7.2 stars rating out of 10 on IMDB.

Altogether, it is one of the best South Korean films that has worked for me. As it is a fresh story which has been portrayed on screen in a surprising way.

Last word: Watch is for the director Lee Chung-hyun and screenplay. Also watch it for the two leading ladies Park Shin-hye and Jeon Jong-seo.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: The Call Review: Brilliant (80 Percent out of 100).
