The first scene between Pulkit and a gangster in the washroom set the pace for the movie. The brilliant cinematography in the first fight scene itself reminds me of the action sequences of Extraction (2020). The cinematography has been done by Harashvir Oberoi. This webseries is also well edited by Priyank Prem Kumar.

The story of this webseries is about, Pulkit Samrat aka Sunny Lalwani who hits out a gangster Abhimanyu Singh aka Pali. Soon, Harshvardhan Rane aka Bali got to know that his brother Pali was badly injured by Sunny. Bali did injured Sunny and he was almost on a verge to die. Somehow, Sunny survives and want to kill Bali, who is currently in jail. Will Sunny able to kill Bali is what the story follows. Here, Jim Sarbh aka Rohan Kalra, is a childhood friend of Sunny and wants to save his life from gangster family.

Taish movie also stars actors like Kriti Kharbanda, Zoa Morani, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Saurabh Sachdeva and many more.

The early response from critics are out now and many have rated this film in a range of 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5. The early response is between decent to good from various critics.

The budget of Taish has not been revealed yet but it would reportedly over 30 to 35 crores easily.

Taish movie has been produced by Nishant Pitti, Rikant Pitti, Deepak Mukut, Shivanshu Pandey and Bejoy Nambiar. This film has been written by Kartik Iyer, Anjali Nair, Gunjit Chopra and Bejoy Nambiar.

Taish has been brilliantly shot, edited and directed but it is low on the story quotient. Still, it has enough material to please us. The dark rooms in the jail, the starting fight sequence and the red color tone of the movie sets my mood into this movie.

The story has been based in foreign locales with some beautiful scenarios. It is just a perfect treat for fans to watch. Bejoy has already made a name for himself as a director for making films like Shaitan (2011) and Wazir (2016).

In terms of acting, Pulkit did strike a chord and shows some acting chops here. Harshvardhan Rane was the highlight of the series whereas Jim Sarbh did a great performance as well. Kriti Kharbanda as a Pakistani girl and love interest of Jim, did gave a decent performance.

The final sequence is the highlight of the whole film where Sunny, Bali and Rohan fights each other and there were a song playing in the background. That scene was in slow motion and it reminds me of Bejoy’s film Saitaan, where he did the similar kind of thing.

Last word: Watch it for its actors like Jim Sarbh, Harshvardhan, and Pulkit. Also watch it for the stylish filmmaking by Bejoy.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Taish Review- Distinction (70 Percent out of 100).
