Salman Khan’s Sultan movie which released on July 6, 2016 in India is all set to hit the silver screens in mainland China on August 2018.
Earlier, Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in China on March 2, 2018 and earned over 295 crores gross collection. Despite facing big clashes with Chinese biggies Monster Hunt 2 and Operation Red Sea, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has a strong run for one month. It is currently the third highest Bollywood earning film in China after Dangal ($ 190 million – over 1254 crores)and Secret Superstar ($ 109 million – over 700 crores).
Meanwhile, Chinese equivalent of IMDB, Douban.com has confirmed the release date of Sultan which is August 31, 2018. It will be released in China with new name Sudan. It will also face w stiff clash with Hollywood release Mission Impossible Fallout which is also releasing at the same time in China.
Altogerher, Sultan will definitely earn over 100 crores due to strong performance of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China. It it earn over 150 crores or 200 crores than it will be an added bonus for Salman Khan film.
