Story: The story of this revolves around India’s first air strike on Pakistan in 1965. Akshay Kumar essays the role of K O Ahuja ( original O.P. Taneja). On the other hand, Veer Pahariya plays T. Vijaya character (original Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya). Nirmat Kaur essayed Akshay’s wife and Sara Ali Khan played Veer’s wife in this film. Sharad Kelkar essays the role of Pakistani air force officer. There is limited characters in this film but the movie is beautifully woven throughout. The film shows how Pakistan attacked India in an aerial encounter and how the latter replied to it.

The early reviews of this film is highly positive in a range of 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5 stars. That means, audience has a big chance to watch this cinema in theaters.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: There is actually two directors in this movie and both have worked well. The first half is full of air strike and story building. The second half is where the story turns interesting to watch. The second half is full of drama and emotions. The film talks about the work culture of Air Force In India and how they have dealt in the troublesome situations against Pakistan in 1965. This film also focuses on K O Ahuja who tries hard to find out missing pilot Vijaya. The movie has some issues in the first half, especially a party song appears out of nowhere and it wasn’t even needed. I feel that, Akshay’s finest performance in last few years as an Air Force officer, he was so good in the role. Even Veer did his best. Sara too shines in her role. The production value is good. The VFX work looks average but still passable. The movie could have been much more better in production front but still a good affair. The emotional impact is strong in the second half and that’s what will make audience cry in theaters. A good film made with good intention and full of love. The music is backbone of this film. After a long time, Akshay’s film got good music. It is not a typical Bollywood war drama as it has some new element into it. The dialogues are limited which is a good thing. The screenplay is good and engaging to watch from start to end. The editing work was also better, as the movie didn’t bored me at all. Maddock Films again gave a good product to the audience. There are few issues in the film still it is a good one to watch in theaters. The problem here is, we all have seen such films in the past in a repetitive way and because of that audience will be hesitant to get in to theaters easily. The word of mouth will help the film on a longer run.

Sky Force movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet but it could reportedly be around 68 to 70 crores maximum.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor. This film have been written by Mr. Kewlani, Aamil Keeyan Khan, Carl Austin and Niren Bhatt. It have been produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, Amar Kaushik and Sahil Baber Khan. The cinematography work have been handled by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran. It has been edited by A Sreekar Prasad. The music composition has been done by Tanishk Bagchi and background score given by Justin Varghese.

Altogether, It is a good patriotic film and perfect watch for Republic Day 2025.

Last Word: Comeback of Akshay Kumar as a star performer. Watch for direction and brilliant second half.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: 3 stars out of 5 stars.
